A very nice score-card from elephants, but missed out on a big trophy.

Regular Season

Magnificent season from elephants, 7 wins from his first 8 had him in 3rd spot after Round 7, before hitting top spot after Round 10. A rare goose-egg (2 losses) in Round 11 saw him lost that spot, before regaining it in Round 13. From Rounds 12-15 had an 8 match winning streak, and by the end of Round 17 was STILL in top spot, 2 games and percentage clear on top of the ladder, the highest point scorer in the League, and looked unmovable. However, a slip up Round 18 saw him lose that #1 spot, and a barn-storming performance from browny_wce pipped top spot and the Minor Premiership by percentage, as elephants had to settle for 2nd place.

Knock-Out Cup

Seeded 9th, elephants edged out Hellopplz in Round 1, smashed browny_wce in Round 2, and was victorious in a low-scoring affair against Marcz (1713-1686) in the final 8.

The Final 4 saw elephants face off against CFC 1979, and luck was still on elephants side with an 8 point victory against the future 4-time Premier.

The Grand Final against Flame is where elephants luck-ran out, in one of the matches of the year, elephants went down to Flame 2,347 to 2,354 to be Runner-Up of the KO Cup.

Finals

A close victory over Hellopplz sent elephants to the final 8, where he met thornz23. This is where elephants quest for the Premiership would end – at least 1 week earlier than many predicted – as thornz23 won the encounter by 23 points. Elephants would eventually finish in 7th spot.

In the All-Star finals, a victory of MTTY in the qualifying final sent him straight to the Preliminaries. But yet again elephants fell just short of glory, as Marcz took the match by 116 points.

Rivalries

With a 30-13 W-L record, elephants had the better of most people. Flame (0-2), valkorum (0-2) and Marcz (1-2) had the better of him, while Premier CFC (2-0) and Minor Premier Browny_wce (2-0) could not get past him, which is probably salt-in-the-wound.
