This is probably the match of the round. The winner stays in touch with the top 4, the loser is back in the pack. Browny_wce has had the more solid recent form, and the bookies say he is favourite.

With an average of only 1666 and a standard deviation of 320, who knows what is going to happen with matches involving Alex7089? One thing for sure that MTTY is desperate for a win. MTTY is ranked 6th on total points scored, but finds himself way down in 27th position. MTTY is still 6th favourite for the flag, but needs wins desperately. So far this year he has had loses of 54, 8, 54, 13 and 21 points. A lose here would definitely give him a choker’s tag.

Bunyip is clearly the most consistent coach in the League, however he has struggled to get the high scores. Only once in eight rounds so far has bunyip outscored hawka26, will this be week 2?

Korza has been middle-of-the-range for most of the year, and with a 3-7 record, desperately needs some more Ws. A loss here against the spoon favourites would make finals all that more difficult.

MajorLazer, in pure statistical terms, is the 2nd most inconsistent coach in The League (behind BoredSaint if you guys are interested), while BBnL have shown glimpses of greatness, but have yet to prove themselves. This match should show where each team is at.

$1.89 Maca24 (12th, 2152) versus $1.92 dylsta05 (22nd, 2148)

In the first of 2 epic encounters for Maca24 this week, ranked 5th on points, Maca24 takes on finals aspirant dylsta05. The Dylstar has had a troubled year, and a win-loss record of 4-6 undersells his ability, having scored the 6th most points in the competition and sitting 8th in Premiership betting.

$1.88 Maca24 (12th, 2152) versus $1.93 CFC 1979 (3rd, 2147)

Two victories this week will have Maca24 in good stead for the rest of the year! His opponent CFC 1979 will be no pushover though, with CFC averaging close 2200 over the last two weeks.

Mark my words, roo boys! will bounce back (excuse the pun) any day now, but when first takes on last in any competition, it’s hard not to back the leader.

There’s a lot to like about the way hawka26 plays this game. Playing the distinct underdog card, hawka26 has won his last 4 matches to go from 29th to 19th on the ladder, despite being ranked 31st on points. His last victories were against MajorLazer (ranked 19th on points), McRooster (11th), pyronerd (30th) and Hellopplz (15th). Despite this, the bookies again have him clear underdog. His opponent Marcz is a former ladder-leader, and is looking to put himself back in the premiership-frame.

$1.29 reesbr (4th, 2186) versus $3.60 RobsOverAchieverss (15th, 2060)

Flag-favourite reesbr takes on 15th placed Rob this week. Rob has done so far this season, and some say has played above himself with a 5-5 record. This is a true test for any coach, but reesbr’s consistency should show in this match.
